Links are unique: a link anyone has already known answers instantly and free — with the knowledge packet inline (packet), so you can answer from the response directly; pass fresh: true to re-read changed content. New articles return in seconds. Video and podcasts defer (transcription takes minutes) — the response carries viewerUrl, the live knowledge page. Relay it immediately.

2 · Fetch the knowledge packet

Token-efficient markdown: title, source, summary, key claims and facts inline, and pointers to the knowledge files — clean full text (source.md), graded evidence (evidence.json), timestamped transcript for media. Relay it to your user directly; fetch a file only when you need the depth.

Payment

No key needed: a keyless call answers 402 with an x402/MPP challenge — authorize it from a wallet and the call proceeds. Your first paid call returns a durable key in X-Researcher-Agent-Key; store it and send Authorization: Bearer <key> from then on. Articles quote about $1; media costs more (transcription).
